What style of yoga do you teach?

Daya-Chi Yoga teaches traditional Hatha Yoga but many styles of yoga overlap which will be explained during the classes.



Should I bring anything with me to my yoga class?

If you have your own yoga mat or any props please bring them along. It's also good practice to bring a large towel. We do provide props and yoga mats at the studio but we recommend buying your own mat for home practice and for hygeine.



What should I wear to yoga class?

You should wear loose comfortable clothing that doesn't restrict your movement as you stretch and bend. A good example would be sleeveless tops and athletic pants or shorts that are light weight. Yoga wear can be purchased at most department stores, sporting-goods stores, and online.



How long is each class?

Typically each yoga class is about an hour and a half which includes a step-by-step relaxation at the end, or a meditation. Expect your first class to be a little longer.



Can my friends and I share the cost of the yoga class?

Yes! You can share the cost of the class if its part of the same group. Our private yoga classes are reserved and designed specifically for the needs of the students attending the class.



Is there an age limit for the yoga classes?

Although every age can practice yoga, we normally teach from ages 8 and up. This can be determined after the initial consultation.



If I take several classes a month, is there a discount?

Yes, the more classes you attend per month, the lower your monthly rate.



Is there an extra charge for the Yoga To Go classes at my own home?

Yes, there is a small fee for having the Yoga class being brought to your home . It depends on where you are located on the island.



Can I request what I would like to learn in my class?

Absolutely, keeping in mind that your safety is our first consideration.
